The Triumph of Stuckism

Liverpool John Moores University has announced a symposium on the Triumph of Stuckism to be held on October 12th.

Not much information so far, but will probably be another coup for Charles Thomson and the Stuckists who have been in a running battle with Saatchi/Serota/Myners etc after charges of corruption were leveled at the Tate concerning the purchase of the Upper Room by Chris Ofili whilst Ofili was a serving trustee.

Good to see the daubers getting some serious interest.

Hello Artistica. My name is Naive John and I am the organiser of the Triumph of Stuckism symposium. The date will coincide with a major exhibition of new Stuckist paintings in the University’s gallery at 68 Hope Street, Liverpool. Both events are free and open to the public as part of Liverpool’s Biennial arts festival. A must for daubers everywhere. NJ.
